The Kanabec County Sheriff's Office is investigating a home invasion that occurred Monday morning.
Officials say two masked males attempted to invade a home in southern Brunswick Township shortly after 11 a.m. The suspects ran up to the owners of the home, who were outside, and sprayed them with a chemical.
The owners were able to grab a gun to scare the men away.
Officials say the two men may have fled in a tan or gray colored 2002 or later Nissan Frontier with racks on top.
Probably pepper spray and the would be robbers got excited and pulled the trigger at too great a range for the wind conditions. Entirely possible that the "peed into the wind" & that combined with homeowner drawwing made it a pretty overwhelming scene for them. Gang initiation gone "oops"?

Or defensive firearm use gone absolutely right...
Whatever the case, CSM, the Brady Bunch, and the Million Moms aren't gonna want to acknowlege *this* little story.
