That's the mall-ninja/junior g-man edition. It's a 300 page how-to, including ultra-secret public scanner codes, detailed explanations on stalking local authors, the role of extreme subservience in the face of authoritarians, and the proper kneepads to use when dealing with police.

It includes a chapter on blaming the innocent, a chapter on "stomping" as told by a "stomper", and a chapter on how the little camera inside a taser can prove anything the taser-holder wants it to prove, and it's always the tasee's fault.

Can you guess who was brought in to co-author?

Surely you do not suggest Joel’s well is dry? Or, are you follower of the myth: “Everything that has been invented has been invented.” – U.S. Commissioner of patents?

The only short book in the excellent category I have ever loved is The YogaSutra (40 pages in original language, totaling 195 short aphorisms). It took me three years to go through it once with a master on a one-on-one basis; moreover, it keeps on giving after 30 years.

Simply put, Joel composes well and his style … well, I like it (not to mention the subject matter).

Well, there are a couple dozen science fiction, fantasy and mystery novels. Some even have guns. :)
