Don't know much more about it myself other than I sent in my registration.

It appears to be AR-15 rifles only. Scoped or iron sights. Caliber apparently does not matter.

Thursday evenings in St. Cloud at DPMS. Starts June 1st.

I assume it will be IPSC style action rifle shooting. Expect targets at muzzle contact distance out to 200 yards.

They'd have a heart attack if I showed up with my DPMS single shot lower with the 18" barrel 50 BMG upper!

Too bad I won't be in town then.

I'm thinking they might draw the line at .50 BMG. Especially since I'm sure they'll be using lots of steel reactive targets that a .50 would drill right through.

Attended the first evening of the AR15 league and it ended up being a DCM style rifle match. All shot at 100 yards. 10 shots standing. 10 shots kneeling. 10 shots sitting, and 10 shots prone. All slowfire. You had 3 minutes to shoot each position with 10 rounds. The final string was 'rapid-fire'. 20 shots in 1 minute with a mandatory reload from prone.

Not quite was most of us were expecting, but, it was still fun and trigger time.
