On Sunday November 19 we held a new shooters intro class for 17 shooters new to IDPA and, in most cases, new to action shooting. Everyone seemed to have a good time and learned our rules, safety procedures, etc. We also had 2 hours of range practice where all the students got to practice the techniques we discussed and demonstrated for them.
We welcome them to our club and to IDPA style shooting!

January 21st - Shooters wanting to become IDPA Safety Officers
We will be training a limited number experienced shooters wishing to become CSOs in January. This club training will NOT certify you as an IDPA Safety Officer but rather discuss and demonstrate the role, duties and techniques used by CSOs. You must have participated in at least a dozen IDPA matches and be Classified as at least a Marksman class shooter. The goal is provide some basic training and allow you to work our matches as SO's under the direction/observation of CSOs. Contact the president or match director to see if you qualify. We then plan to arrange for the regional certifier to meet with, train and evaluate folks these so they can become Certified.
March 18 - Tactical Match
Our current and former match director will create state and national match level courses to test the skills of our experienced shooters. Shooters must be Classified as Sharpshooter or higher or obtain a waiver form one of the Keiths.
