I am planning to purchase a high-end 22lr target pistol, which I hope to use for bullseye someday. Before I go out and start developing any bad habits, I'd like to get some training on the proper techniques for competitive target shooting. Is there someone in the Twin Cities that provides this training? There has to be some master shooters in town. Also, do any gun shops cater to target shooters? The folks at Bill's had no clue when I asked them about Pardini pistols.

Thanks.

There was a good deal of info that I found on the web for .22 target. There was a Canadian group who looked like they knew what they were talking about... Sorry I can't find them atm.

Do some reading with these guys

The thing that I have found most valuable for tactical pistol work is a video camera and some free weights.

Go to Bill's south on Monday evening, that is the night the .22 league shoots. Look for Cathy, she would know if anyone does.

Good luck.
