If the range is closed you can get the gate key at Hardware Hank and then use the range.
They have 25 yard on out to 100 yard range-- Nothing to fancy--

It's a nice range with deep trenches to access the target locations with windmills to hold the targets. Firing doesn't have to stop to change your targets.
