I will be shooting some panels - if interesting in witnessing the testing - I will keep you posted on dates and times.
Sometimes it is interesting to see what REALLY happens when something is shot.

I'll contribute some .44 Mag and 10mm if you want. Real 10mm -- 180gr @ 1200fps, not FBI loads.

Specifically we will be testing NIJ2 Poly Armor against the Winchester 127 +P+ LEO Ranger Load.
454 is a bit much for NIJ2
10mm is not the standard round that we need to test - unfortunately.

I guess my student's Barret M21 is a no-go then, huh?

Everybody knows that standard body armor isn't terribly effective against rifle rounds, even .223. Sure, ceramic plates help, but rifles are rifles and pistols are pistols..
