Don't know any of the details regarding this video, but it seems that whatever this guy was shooting at thought that turn-about is fair play...

They said it's a tire above the video. Looks like it's possible, but I didn't know a tire could do that...

Break.com is notoriously inaccurate in their descriptions of their videos. I think the guy who runs that site is either a high school dropout or a dopehead or both.

I completely agree, but I still find myself on their site every day after I get caught up with whats going on in here...

Usually good for a chuckle or wince...

Some of the larger truck wheels have snap rings on them that are notoriously dangerous. That is probably what flew off. They Use safety cages when they inflate the tires.

Split rim wheels can go off like a bomb if you aren't careful with them.
A buddy of mine is a heavy mechanic at Yellow Freight, and he told me that the safety video they have to watch on the subject shows just how dangerous. They also use a cage.
