Been contemplating buying one.

Anyone here had or have one?

How dependable are they and do they have any known issues?

Thanks.

The guy at 1:24 gives me the willies.
A buddy of mine just got one recently, and I would like to shoot it very much.
He says he wants to go shoot trap or skeet with it and a 12 or 15 round mag, just to see the priceless look on the faces of the guys with the snooty trap guns.

I've had the same thought re: the .410 AR clone :-)

The box mag shotgun design is AWESOME. I wish mossberg would come with one straight from the factory. I think there are some conversion kits to turn your remington/mossberg into a similar setup.

I've shot a couple of them, I have one here now. They work just fine and are quite pleasant to shoot. Double and triple taps are interesting and the gun isn't hard to control 8)

Loading the ten round magazines is a learned skill, inserting the loaded magazines is something that must be learned too. Not terribly hard to do either process, but different.

It sure doesn't take long to unload the ten shot magazines :D

I shot one this past weekend. Very nice. I didn't ever try to shoot it fast or anything as we were only shooting clays but it was very controllable. I really wish I had one.

My buddy said the only problem he has is that his has problems with winchester shells. Every so often it has trouble ejecting. He said federals work a lot better.

One of my friends purchased one very recently. We took it out and I have to say I was impressed. The fact you can put in a magazine that holds 10 shells and unload that magazine in a matter of a couple seconds is awesome in itself. But when the gun is based off of the AK platform, well them I'm in love.

The only downside is the Saiga doesn't appear to accept choke tubes so it's application may be limited in areas. But overall I'd certainly purchase one if I didn't have a SPAS 12.
