Searched everywhere south of the river, everyone says the same thing - they don't know anyone who has 380. Anyone know where some is? Wanted to go to the range and get some quality time in - but nothing. Only thing I have left is my personal defense rounds.

It's all in my garage Mwahhahahahah.
Just kidding. The problem is just as bad down here. Was at Bass Pro Shops last week looking at a lot of empty shelves, and recently I overheard a local gunshop employee tell a prospective customer that the Walther he was considering purchasing ran a lot better with a certain kind of .380 ammo (in the opinion of the worker and other owners of that firerarm), but that he can only get one brand in regularly, and that ain't it.
Scottsdale Gun Club has Magtech ball, but only sells to people using the range, and there is a limit on amount.

I may have to stop by the next time I am on vacation. Speaking of which, I usually stay at the JW Desert Ridge. What are some good ranges in that area? I will probably carry next time I visit, but are there any that rent also? Thanks.

SGC is quite nice, and rents as well. There is one in Chandler, but I have not been there. The big outdoor one on the other side of town is the Ben Avery public shooting range, but I'm not going there when it's 110 degrees out.

I usually get bullets from Zero, but they aren't even planning a run of 380 bullets (for reloading) in the foreseable future. I'm gonna check a couple other companies tomorrow and see if I can get some (Missouri, Ranier, etc.). I have 3 boxes of reloads left. The lovely and talented Bensmom will burn through those at our next range session. The poor woman might have to break down and start shooting a 9.

I picked up two boxes of MagTech .380 yesterday at Bill's in Robbinsdale. 2 Box limit.

Winchester and Remington have put a hold on .380 production for the next 2.5 years in order to up production for 9mm which is under greater demand by the public and military.

The hardware/farm store my dad works in got a letter from Winchester that essentially said that. No more .380 to be made due to use of materials for 9mm manufacture. The store got the letter a couple months back.
