Footnote:
I left a message yesterday morning for the Fox9 Morning NEw Executive Producer, carefully explaining "rifle" vs "assault rifle."
This morning, it was again an "assault rifle."
I understand occasional ignorance, but willfull ignorance makes me batty.

I heard about this story on KQRS this morning.I was going to try to call in and scold Barnard [who I believe is a permit holder], but it would have made me late to a meeting that my boss would also be at.I will e-mail over the weekend. I am pretty sure they were just reading copy, but one of the "crew" asked something like "who has an assault rifle, and how do you get one?"
