Right ....

At this point I've made over 30 consecutive trips to Wally Worlds in both MN and WI and have not found a single round of .380, 9mm, .40, or .45. Basically, I don't even bother trying to buy ammo anymore. What I have in my possession left over from last year will probably have to last me until ammo starts arriving en masse, or until the big-time hoarders who arrive before the stuff is even brought out to the floor all figure their 50,000 rounds is enough and now it's time to let the everyone else buy some.

Below is a drawing of me, on my last trip to Wally World when I found out that there was no ammo:

If you like to drive, Last weekend I stopped at a place in Thief River falls that had several case of 9mm. I don't remeber the exact price, but it was less than $20 a box. I believe the place is called Hunters outlet. Their number is 218-681-6611 if anyone wants to call and see if they will ship some out.

To buy up everything they have the moment it comes in...

To come and brag about it to other people looking for some... classy.

Hey, I provided the tip in another subforum here.

Eden Prairie. GOBS of .40 and .45 WWB value packs right now. Your loss if you don't go. 8)

Ammo purchase is limited to six boxes per customer per day. That's six boxes total, not six of a kind. The guy in front of me tried and got smacked down.

I picked up 6 boxes of .40 at Woodbury's Wal-Mart tonight.

I would trade partially or all of it for .45 (comparable brands though) - if you're interested PM me. Otherwise, I'll eventually shoot it through my CX4.

Scheel's in Mankato got a shipement of ammo in (Wednesday 5/6/09). They have some American Eagle 9mm FMJ $15.99 a box (50 count).

They have some SD ammo too but I though the prices were ridiculous. No 45 ACP. There seemed to be plenty of 40 S&W on the shelves too.

Walmart Mankato has 40S&W but no 9mm. They also had .357 and 38 special.

I brought the girlfriend with me. She bought six boxes of .45 and I bought six. Of course I didn't know until after that she doesn't have a .45 to use it in...

Well, blue, you'll undoubtedly be delighted to hear that I made the rounds of the local wallyworlds this AM and picked up TWO cases of .45. Thanks to foresight (on my part! ) the six box limit did not apply. Now, another four or five cases and I'll be have the reserves built back up.

Ya snooze, ya lose! LOL

No matter how "subtle" some folks are, there are others who just "don't get it."
And never will.
