I had the 5 yr old boy at the Red Wing skateboard park this morning. There was only one other kid there, a 15 yr old whose mom forgot to come pick him up. When we got there he told me some kid in a blue Buick 4-door had been driving back and forth, parking and leaving again, all morning. I saw the car a few times and called it in. Police didn't find him as far as I know, he would park somewhere for 15-20 min then drive again. Likely drug dealer.

So, we talked about how Red Wing had changed. In the last 10 years a bunch of gangbangers from the city had moved in. He said that meth was the big thing, then pot, not much cocaine.

Oh yeah, of course I was carrying, I was outside my bedroom and not legally prevented!

He may have also been waiting for his buddies to show up or his girlfriend who's parents don't like, not every kid driving like a chicken with its head cut off is a criminal...

Driving back and forth for 3 hours, parking then leaving again multiple times... not waiting for someone.

I would have called it in also--- if I had a license plate number. Otherwise it wasn't near enough to be a threat to me.

All you need to do is tell the police exactly what you saw and what the circumstances are and they can decide what to do. A couple of weeks ago, while looking for the Dan Patch Horseshoe my son and i found a duffle bag full of spray paint. This was across the highway from a few train tracks. I called the Savage PD, explained what I found and asked if they were interested or if I should just pick it up and throw it away. They came out and picked it up.
