I'm too lazy to follow the links...how about a short synopsis, or quote the lead...

#1 Government demands inventory of all VFW weapons
#2 US military wants inventory of personal weapons/permits at Ft. Bliss, TX
#3 Same as #2, Ft. Campbell, KY
#4 Survey given to marines at 29 palms asking if they agree to US troops used within the US and bordering countries

In #4, the following is also a question:
46. The U.S. government declares a ban on the possession, sale, transportation, and transfer of all non-approved firearms. A 30-day amnesty period is established for these firearms to be turned over to the local authorities. At the end of this period, a number of irregular citizen groups and defiant individuals refuse to turn over their firearms to authority. Consider the following statement: [SD D A SA NO]
"I would fire upon U.S. citizens who refuse or resist confiscation of firearms banned by the United States government."

Obama Is working all angles to disarm us. I hope I'm not around when the final confrontation/confiscation starts. It's going to be ugly

Folks, the 29 Palms survey is about 15 years old. Cunningham wrote it as a masters' research project, NOT as an official DOD survey. And Jim, Obama had nothing to do with it.
Cunningham also released his results. Over 60% of the marines who took the survey said they would refuse to follow such an order under any circumstances.
Calm down. This isn't THR.

ETA - Although Jim, I agree with you on one thing. Should things go pear-shaped at some point, it will indeed get very, very ugly. I just want to make sure we're watching the right direction, not the distraction.

Anything from WND and Alex Jones needs to be taken with several pounds of salt.
The Ft. Campbell thing was debunked. The Ft. Bliss will be also. Zero original sources, zero original evidence. Why not post a copy of the actual letter?
These guys are coming closer to being parodies of themselves.

+1 to all of that. We've enough real issues to be concerned about without taking our cues from the moonbat right...
