I guess the only solution is to no longer hide guns under your shirt like a crook! Open Carry FTW!!
Wasn't this the logic behind allowing permit-free open carry? Why would a law abiding citizen need to hide the fact that he is armed?
He probably doesn't need to, but I bet he sure likes having the option to conceal. I don't like being required to conceal, any more than being required to open carry.
Point is, let me carry, and don't tell me how to carry.
In regard to the OP. I think the potential for any shitstorm is less than minimal. The CNN reporter has used poor wording, and if he does intend to include anyone and everyone carrying, then he has obviously spent little or no time thinking about this issue. If he's just another anti, then he is no worse and no better than any of the other morons, other than he has a loud mouthpiece to use. Besides "something bulky" is so vague and ignorant, its meaningless. How many people with cell phones, fanny packs, water bottles, or whatever would be just as likely to be mistaken for carrying a gun (to be honest a well carried gun makes less or equal printing than any of the above.)?
WE better act?? What you mean WE, Sheeple Boy?? You're the one who wants to do something about this!! Why are you dragging other people into it??
Reminds of a time in school when a friend suggested WE do something about the school bully. Turned out his intention in the WE part was to hold my coat while I did something about the bully.

Just for record the reporter didn't say this. It was some investigator he was interviewing who was going on and on, preaching making it sound like, if someone is white and has a bulge, "WE" better watch out and report "THE SUSPICIOUS" activity.
