Today, October 7, 2009. I continued to hit redial until the phone was answered by a human. Pleasant gal stated that they were processing applications received in early May. I told her mine was mailed in April. She said that there might be a problem with my background check. She looked up my application. My permit was issued on August 18, 2009, but that "batch" did not print, hence my permit was not mailed. She thanked me for calling as they did not know which ones print and which ones don't. Said she would print and mail my permit today. B.T.W. NH permits now expire on your birthday. Mine will be good for 4 years plus 8 months and a few days from the issue date.
