You shouldn't have any problems.

IMO it works great and is slightly dirtier than most but shouldn't matter if you ever clean you guns. Somewhere slightly dirtier than Blazer Brass.
My CZ never had a problem with either so probably fine in you Springfield as well.

I have used around 300 rounds of Wolf .45 in my XD and had no problems but I had to give it a good cleaning afterwards.

I've never had problems with it in a handgun.

I have seen stuck cases in an AR (5.56) with their old lacquer they used to coat the cases. If the chamber gets too hot (read AR) from firing fast and then a case is left in the chamber, the old lacquer coating would melt, re-harden when the rifle cools, it will glue itself in the chamber. It is a real bitch, for a gunsmith, to get some of then out.

The new coating, kind of a grey color rather than the old green color, is better. I would just never leave a round chambered in a really hot gun. I use the new (grey coated) rounds in my AR's with no problem, but I rarely dump several magazines through it rapidly.

That's a good price. Where did you get it?

Some guy around silver lake had bought 1000 rounds then his wife found out he bought all the rounds and the gun so he had to get rid of it all, heard it through a couple friends.

Due to the steel case, some folks argue it'll wear down the extractor faster. If that's true, you could always replace the extractor some day though.

I gave away 150 rounds of wolf in exchange for a hamburger. Afterward I felt guilty for ripping the poor guy off like that. He did say that he was looking for ammo so that he could work on "clearing drills" so I guess the Wolf will help him with that.

Dress up in worn out, tattered Russian camo fatigues, smoke Russian cigarettes made out of floor sweepings from Chernobyl and the local gulag, drink cheap vodka that is 2% methanol, and then don't change your underwear for 6 months, and nobody will notice (including YOU!!) what kind of ammo you are using...

I had a few boxes of Wolf .40 ammo and I gave it away. It kept sticking in the barrel of my M&P, about one of every 10 rounds. It fired OK on a friend's Hi-Point carbine though.

Walmart has Blazer Brass and Winchester White Box for about $13.50 a box, I'd stick with that.

Never shot 'Wolf Ammo' through a handgun.

However, I did have a Yugoslavian SKS that would 'eat' any round fed to it...........as long as it wasn't 'Wolf'.

I have shot thousands fo rounds of Wolf through my Sigs with no problems. With my bad back, I like the steel casings, since I can pick them up with a long handled magnet.

A Beretta 96 will eat up Wolf .40 like it was candy.
