I blame Joel for me buying a shotgun tonight.

He put a P7 in my hands, and within a few weeks, I had to get one.

An absolutely no-regret purchase. I LOVE that gun.

He then put a lightweight .357 snubby in my hands (.38 my ass! ). Him being the devil and all, he knew I'd like it. Especially after his last suggestion worked so well.

So I picked up a S&W 637 (.38+p only, but my hands say, "That's fine by us").

I ran to Frontiersman tonight to get speed strips for the snubby.

I walked out after putting money down on a nice "get-the-eff-out-of-my-house" Winchester 1300 Defender (gotta wait till payday to pick it up).

So I blame Joel for me buying a shotgun tonight. :bang:

That's the problem with shooting with friends...you always end up liking what they are shooting, and need one of your own.

You think Joel's bad?

Come on over and we'll take a "few" toys to the range.

You sound so broken up over it.

Enjoy your new guns.

This is true, unless you have money to spend on toys... (In which case, I accept gifts! )

And just how does one avoid going to a gun store?

The trick is to leave the house with less funds than necessary to purchase a firearm.

Alternatively, invite me along, and give me your money as we enter the gun store.

Still doesn't work. Frontiersman is all too happy to hold on to something for 10% down, so even if you don't have a card on you, you're screwed.

You mean with the $3 in bills and $5 in coins in my cupholder, I could walk out with a firearm? Dare I ask what I'd be buying? (I only want new!)
