Squeeze trigger, BANG, repeat. Kind of boring, but I never cared for drama.

Would it be rude to ask how much you paid for that and how long it took to get? (do you know of anywhere that has these currently in stock?)

Red Bear Hunting Emporium on Hwy 169 in Mankato had 2 of them in .223 a couple weeks ago. He also had several 'regular' M4 types.

Hunters Den on Hwy 14 on the west end of New Ulm has several types of AR's. Exactly what they have, I couldn't tell you tonight.

I should be stopping by both places tomorrow, so I can do a little research for you if you wish.

As for the cost of my rifle & accessories.....

Here's the breakdown:

1 DPMS 'Panther Arms' LR-308 $999.99 (MSRP $1,169.00 for the bare bones rifle per the DPMS website)
1 Leupold VM II 4-12x40 $399.99
1 'Riser' $39.99 ($10 off, was $49.99)
1 set Leupold Rifleman Rings $24.99
Harris bipod $89.99

How long it took to get........ (this is actually kinda funny). :D

I stopped by Hunters Den to see about trading the Browning BPS 12 ga. that I won back in April, for a Springfield Armory 'Loaded' model 1911A1. He said that he'd trade (along with me adding some cash), but he wanted to see the BPS first. No problem.

I went back later that day with the BPS and while talking trade, one of the employees was putting together a 'regular' AR15. I mentioned something like "Oh, you finally got some in?"

He pointed towards the rack just past the counter and there were at least 6 other AR types hanging there. I saw this one and asked to look at it.

It was all downhill from there......... I was hooked!

I traded the BPS and some cash for it. I put it on 'layaway' the last Saturday of June. Made weekly payments. Finished paying it off and picked it up Aug. 12th.
