hmmm.....if they go forward in honoring a MN permit will they continue (over time) to do so without reciprosity from MN |

Does anyone know if Nebraska state law preempts local law? I know when this first came out, there was talk that the permits would not be valid in the Omaha city limits. When I left Omaha in 1997, they had a mandatory handgun registration law, permit-to-purchase, and a permit required for open carry (no CC allowed). |

The same law that authorized the NE AG to make a list of approved States, also had pre-emption in it. So, "in theory" all local laws limiting permit holders that were more restrictive etc. are moot.
