A replica or the real thing?

Who knows when the SLP HS Principal conspires with the SLP Police? At least they didn't claim it was a water main break this time.

Man arrested with replica gun at high school

Published : Wednesday, 09 Sep 2009, 12:25 PM CDT

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. - A man was arrested Wednesday morning after carrying a replica gun into St. Louis Park High School.

According to a message posted on the school's website, a man entered the school through an ajar door at a back entrance around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday and asked a teacher for direction to the student office.

As the man started to walk toward the office, several students reported seeing the man carrying a gun.

The man was arrested without incident by the school police liaison officer and taken off school property. It was later discovered the gun was a replica. Police are trying to determine why the door the suspect entered was ajar.

A message left for parents can be heard at https://asp.schoolmessenger.com/m/?s=C4VVhRVE_lo

No information has been released on whether or not the man will be charged. Parents with questions or concerns are asked to call the principal at 952-928-6107.

With all of the news lately (North Saint Paul officer killed, feral youths in hoods making armed robberies of home parties, etc) it appears that the asylum door might have been ajar also.

It would be enlightening to see exactly why this person was bringing a replica firearm into a controlled access school building. If he was just testing the law perhaps we could convince him to try it at the local post office to test that scenario also.

The door was a jar? How can a door be a jar? Why would you put a jar on a building? Was the door IN a jar? Or was the door ON the jar??

I'm so confused.
