This is from a Lance Lawson comic strip. Those who've followed James Lileks's stuff in the Strib or on his site will be familiar with the strip, which was done locally in the late 1940s and featured a crime and its solution in four panels or less. The attachment shows the kind of behavior that, as the headline says, I don't think our instructors (or any criminal-defense lawyer) would encourage.

Confessions always make things easier for someone. Very seldom is it the person giving the confession.
