He pleaded guilty Monday in Worcester Central District Court to charges including larceny from a person. Records show Judd has a long criminal history. He's already been to prison three times for several offenses, including assault and vandalism. Maybe I'm just out of touch, but it seems to me that the punishment for armed robbery shouldn't be lessened simply because the bastard didn't steal very much...

I hope he gets a psychological evaluation while in jail for stealing a hot dog at gun point (even if it was a pellet gun).
And yeah, if he's in a "3 strikes you're out" state that was a REALLY bad choice. Life in prison for a hot dog. But, I think in many/most "3 strikes you're out" states the previous convictions must be for violent crimes.
