Interesting quote by the Anti:
Quote:
"I've got no problems with any institution, whether it's a business or a church, hiring professional, trained security people who know the risks," said Paul Helmke, president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. "What I do have serious concerns about is the idea that a private individual, just because they're a gun owner, can be a security guard just by carrying a gun to church."

I suppose those classes that some of all ya'll teach & are required to get a permit to carry don't include knowing risks involved or thinking about when bad things happen in crowded places . .. Ooops, I think he hurt his argument more than he helped it.

(thank God it happens to the other side too)

Maybe Helmke's armed security person will forget to load his weapon tomorrow, and some crazy SOB will try to get 'em. That'd be about the only way to get the word into *his* head. They can screw up, too. Better off defending yourself. Wouldn't it be ironic if he himself carried a handgun? Too stupid to do that, though... :bang:
