Texas is always good for some good food & some good fun, but it does get quite warm there in the summer, San Antonio or Dallas area.
+1 on the Williamsberg area. My wife and I were there several years ago and enjoyed ourselves. It is perfect for a weekend, but more than that is a reach.

Atlanta. Miami. Go to Nevada, and get certified there. Historical Philly. Seattle or Portland. Nashville. Charleston or Savannah. San Antonio or Austin.

Add a day or so to your trip to Nevada, and write it off as a business expense

Miami it is. Beaches, babes, cuban food, Art Deco...
...and I have a Florida permit.
(Can you believe, last night my wife asked for the list of 31 states where I can carry, so that we could pick from those? )
Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions. I think some of those go in the file for next year.

How about NV?
I know a spot where you - if you ask real nice could even get some good home cooking.
How about a 4 day vacation to the Farm in WI? You could turn it into a shooting vacation.....

I like the NV idea, spending a few hours getting a permit would be a nice touch. However it wouldn't really give you anything over MN/FL/UT other then being able to carry in Vegas, and it would only be good for the next time you went.
