I am moving from the warehouse district to Robbinsdale in the fall. I will be right behind Bill's GS/Range on W. Broadway. Robbinsdale is kinda in the 'hood'. Should i invest in heavy artillery or are things fairly safe? All opinions welcome.

Yes.
I had an office in Robbinsdale acouple of years ago and it was getting bad then. I've heard its gotten much worse. I've driven through the area afew times and it isn't pretty. I'd definately say worse than warehouse district. Phillips? probably not that bad.

Well,
That would explain why new construction is cheaper there than anywhere else in the metro area. Even Chaska!

Robbinsdale is a pit.
It is a fringe area - like all other fringe areas it attracts a certain element - due to the low cost and close proximity to the big city.
Just don't think that because you are movign to the burbs that all will be completely safe - like it is here in the western Burbs..(Yeah right)
As another said - bad stuff can happen anywhere. Just be aware.....

And the Antis keep telling us there's no legitimate use for a .50 cal rifle.
While I would call it neighborhood watch, others would call it a para-military organization.

I hear that Robbinsdale is less than crime-free, but, I'm pretty sure, so is the warehouse district. I'm certain the consensus among this crowd would be to equip yourself with at least some light artillery, whether you move or not.

My ex-fiancee lives up there, had a pretty bad graffitti issue once, and lots of hoods at the park near the hospital (three blocks from her). Better than Powderhorn Park, but not by much.
