Has anyone else seen the "safe direction" products?

I like the idea of having a portable backstop that I can use when dry firing, or reloading to holster after the range, but $135 is more than it's worth. $40 is reasonable. At $25 each, I'd buy two for the convenience. But $135? Nope.
What seems optimal would be a 8 to 12 inch square of something like the spall liner that they tested on box o' truth:

I'm not considering the pail of sand or the one foot cube of phone books because while they win on cost, they loose on portability, and my wife would insist that they be kept in the garage.
