BTW, Bill is an FFL, and does reasonable transfers ($20 for handguns/rifles, $75 for class III stuff).

I transfer a firearm maybe 3 times a year through him, and he remembers me every time I call him on the phone to have him fax/mail his FFL to the sender. Nice guy to chat with.

Oh, and if you refer someone selling military paraphenalia, there's a finders fee. Bill's big into military collectables.

Just be prepared to spend some time in his shop if you go in. He's always busy with machining, but always has time for a customer.

I almost feel bad for only giving him $20/transfer :D
