To the best of my knowledge US Bank does not post their locations.
I don't know their stance on 2 A issues.

Farmers' State Bank of Hamel.
They've got numerous stuffed game animals on the wall long with hunting rifles hanging from the wall.
I've called and spoke with the manager and he said "of course you're welcome to carry, we like guns"

When I was stationed in South America I noticed all the banks had at least one armed guard with a fully automatic machine gun or pump shotgun. And a lot of the workers were armed too.

It gets interesting on the main plaza in Puerto Vallarta when they come in to pick up the CASH payroll for the navy base. Two Humvees with 50 cals, a third for the paymaster and driver followed by two duce-and-a-half's full of G3 wielding sailors. They spread out around the plaza and secure it for about an hour while they count the money and get ready to go.

Hey Lenny .. I've been to that very bank in Playa. Just a block or two off the beach on Avenida Juarez?
The SMG appears to be a Mendoza HM4. Hecho en Mexico and a standard issue to Federales.

Somehow, they think this should induce me to get an account with them.

I would think they'd have to cash a check if they are the drawee bank, if not, they've sort of broken their contract with their customer. Maybe I'm out of touch, but that sounds real basic and wrong.
If I write you a check, Pay to the order of (you), I can't see why my bank would not have to pay out legal tender. Does anybody know?
