In the spirit of the gangster era I would prefer to carry there, are they posted?

Anyone ever been to the swing night dancing?

Last time I was there was before the great liberalization of the permits, so I have no idea if it's posted.

It used to be if you got there early, they had free lessons before the real dancing started.

Hmm... here's a thought, though: There tends to be some partner swapping among the people who take the lessons, so you might want to make sure you are carrying discreetly. Somebody you don't know will very likely have their hands on your waist and back. And if you refuse to swap partners, you'll look like a weirdo.

Yet another scenario where a small pocket revolver would be a good choice.

OK - a large pocket revolver then.

I would say yes by the photo on their web page http://www.wabashastreetcaves.com/. The owner is Donna Bremer who I have never heard of nor did I find any news about her other than tourism and caves.

Yes, they are posted?
The first picture (of several) I saw was of the "working class lady", and she was definitely carrying.

Used to go there a lot...in the 6 months I've been maybe 1-2 times. Not sure, but I didn't notice any signs. I'll check next time I drive past, that's my old neighborhood.

We had the annual M.O.H.A. (Minnesota Outdoor Heritage Association) legislative caucus dinners there every year until the last couple of years when they moved the dinner to the 3M Center Holiday Inn. (We had been trying to get the Shooting Range Protection Act Passed).

I had met Gov. Pawlenty there and talked to him face to face on more than one occasion. I also met, talked with, and ate the dinner table with just a ton of State Senators and Reps.

This was before I had my "Permit To Carry A Pistol". Never did see any signs at the times I was there. It would have been fun to be talking to the Gov. with my 1911A1 descretly concealed in my IWB holster, with his State Patrol Security Detail at arms length. 8)

I did have a chance to discuss the second coming of the MPPA with Senator Pat Pariseau during dinner just before the law was passed. What a lovely lady she is. 8) 8)
