The Minneapolis Star-Tribune will have a story Friday or Sunday regarding Minnesota's approach to banning the "mentally ill" from gun ownership [see Minn Stat sec 624.713, subd 1 (c), (e) and (j)(4)] and the f**ked up reporting system through the state DHS [see sec 245.041 and 253B, subd. 3a]. I expect questions from Legislators after this comes out but, hopefully, no last minute legislative changes. I need backup from people who work in the Minnesota MH system and know what's going on.
