A BIG thank you to the authors of the proposed bill;
Pariseau; Hann; Ingebrigtsen and Gimse!

Quote: Pariseau; Hann; - Hackbarth; Cornish; We're well served by these folks I know this is thread drift, but I though a good place to throw it in.
How about donating a $100 to these people that lead the fight. You can donate up to $100 for a married couple to a politician, they send you paperwork that you submit for a $100 refund. All you will be out is 2 envelopes and 2 stamps. You can do this every year to help with their election campaign

I've already let the MN GOP that I will not be making any donations to their State coffers. I told them that I won't be "Slow Rolled" again. I will be making donations to specific candidates that I feel are conservative republicans. Watch as the list of co-sponsers for this bill grows. There will be several from both parties that could be worthy of a donation. The ones I mentioned earlier in this thread are almost always on our side of issues (I have met and talked to them on many occasions).

If this passed, would that force the state to allow sound suppressors, since they are considered firearms by the BATFE?

This seems to be good stuff, but reading through the rest of the amendments made me realize -
WE HAVE TOO MANY PEOPLE WRITING BILLS AND LAWS AND AMENDMENTS
We really need less goverment. There should be a law against writing bills... They are very sneaky about adding an "appropriation" here, and a funding amendment there. No wonder our taxes keep growing and growing.

This is why, in general, I LIKE congressional gridlock. This is why, in general, I CRINGE when I hear a politician campaigning that they're a candidate for change....Most likely that change will be for the worse.
