My buddy is offering a Taurus Millenium (pro i believe) PT145 in pretty good condition (minor wear i would say 8.5-9/10) for 220.00....is that a good price, i checked online and looked over a few things and seems like a good price i just wanted a 2nd opinion, plus Taurus has a lifetime warranty which helps with any purchase....so please let me know>>>any feedback will be helpful!!
This seems like the ideal carry for its size and the overall pretty good reviews on this gun but i figured i would ask the non-motivated seller and get real feedback, i really like the gun just want second opinion. Thanks!

That seems like a pretty reasonable price, but offer him $180 and settle for $200.

If you can, get out and shoot it before you buy it. I see folks buy 'em, then after they get 'em to the range, are disappointed. The biggest complaint seems to be a long, creepy trigger press, especially the early ones.

Ive had one since the first of the year I like it really well. It allways works. Holsters for the Glock 26 27 & 33 fit them well.

There are 3 generations of PT145's. The first has had frame cracking problems.
Taurus customer service will tell you which generation you have if you call their customer service in Florida.
I've had 1 FTF in my PT145. No other probs. It's my daily off-duty carry.
Also check out www.taurusarmed.net
Lots of info for those new to Taurus and subcompact pistols.
