To be honest, I'm a leetle underwhelmed with the XDm. I will admit to not being a big .40 fan...but, I had a bunch of ammo left over from a brief P226SAS dalliance...and, all my previous experiences with XD's were positive...
I think I made a mistake by switching the backstrap right off the bat to the biggest one; I figured that since I really like the way my G21 feels, that I'd want it thicker. Perhaps not, tho--I need to change it back to the medium and take it to the range again.
One thing I did find out that surprised me--it shot a LOT better with 180grn than 165. So...we'll have to see.

keeps us posted on the change of backstrap. my standard XD hasn't been able to illicit an ill response from me yet. but i haven't fired one of the M's yet.

Lance22:
That must be your Court Gun. A BBQ gun should have pearl grips and more Bling!
Remember for court: the holster should match your boots, belt, and/or hat.
If your pimpin' the hat might work with the holster, but probably not for court.
Fashion my friend, you must be fashion conscious!!!
