I do have a 2 meter 1/4 wave antenna on the rear trunk lid. Seems the police left me a Larson NMO mount. As for the Crown Vic, the car is labeled "Police interceptor" not Crown Vic. I mentioned P71 in the last post, that is the Vin Number code for Police interceptor and big engine/suspension/Different electical system/heavy suspension etc. This ain't Grandpa's car.

"It's got a cop motor, a four hundred and forty cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks, it was a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas..."

My 1989 Ford Taurus with the 360 V6 engine will still beat the pants off of any Camry, new or old. It is, simply, the best car I've ever owned. Twenty year maintenance cost is about $0.02/mile. I can't sell it, it is superior to any potential replacement.

Until tomorrow when you drop the tranny because you said it was so reliable.
