Just came across this pencil drawing I did not long ago of a Smith 586 of mine. I rarely use black and white any more -- little demand for it -- but I sure do love it.

Very nice, Dave. Your style remains distinctive; wish there were more of a paying audience for it.

As it happens, I am pretty well employed at present writing and illustrating for an aviation publication, the EAA's Sport Pilot and Light Sport Aircraft magazine. Most of my stuff is not so exact as this Smith drawing. I just did that one for fun, and in the course of rummaging through images recently -- I have a ton -- up it came, and I thought people on his forum might enjoy it.

We do. Well, I do, and I'm obviously not alone. If time and inclination allow: more, please.

Well, again, thanks, all.

There are lots more images, but hardly any gun-related, so "General Gun Discussions" doesn't seem like the right venue for them. If you want to move it over to maybe "Non-Gun Freefire Zone," I will put a few more up. Mostly aviation stuff, but not just aviation, and most in color.

My other claim to fame?

I once operated one of the doors on the Mystery Science Theater 3000 door-opening sequence. (They were a little short of help that day.)

If you think that is good, you should see some of his wife's art. (And yes, that is nice work Dave)

Well, forget the drawing -- now I'm really impressed! ;)
