Might take a while, I've got to find the calculator that does scientific notation Where's our resident tank guru when we need him? -Mark

Should I be chipping in for ammo or go juice? Well, it depends on whether you want to be a tank or a pillbox... My recommendation--if you're going to be using it on the streets of your suburbs, chip in for JP-8. It's amazing what an armored vehicle can do to a small car when the two meet head-on (seen it, but that's a story for a different day), so 120mm rounds are a bit of overkill in that environment. If you have a bit of extra cash, you can always go with something a little smaller and use either the .50 Cal or one of the M240's on those idiots that refuse to get off their cell phone or can't figure out how to merge. Hope that helped with your decision.

given the disparity of force and the mobility / car crushing ability, I can't imagine a situation where retreat was not an option or no lesser force would do when driving a TANK in suburbia. Go Juice is probably a more prudent investment until we get to a suitable range ...
Say ... Doesn't Ahlman's do a tank shoot or something?
Some days, I really do wish for a Tank to drive to work. Let the idiot on the cell phone swerving between lanes bounce off on his own initiative and let me get to work without having to play dodge ball / frogger in my car.

Paul A suitable range is obtainable....by simply backing up.

Ok, for the record... I don't care what ammo you carry. I don't care what gun you carry. I don't care how many spare mags or speedloaders you carry. I don't care how many times you've been to Gunsite, Thunder Ranch, or Blackwater. If you see that barreling down on you...RUN LIKE HELL!

Mark it's your keen wit that I like. Oh yeah you can get people out of older tanks with a bottle of ammonia tossed into the vents.
