Buffalo Wild Wings has improper signage:
1. Inside the door (on the left), not even facing the main door
2. About shin/knee level (I'm 5'9")
3. looks a little small too.

They just opened one of these in Savage, near where I live. I haven't gone there yet, but next time I pass by I'll check it out.
Sometimes I wonder if some of these places post out of standard on purpose.
Think about it- If the signage doesn't meet requirements, it's essentially not there- so technically if we carry into the establishment, we're not committing tresspass. So we're good.
The anti's see the sign and mysteriously feel safe becasue the all powerful sign keeps absoultely all evildoers out. So they are happy too.
And they don't know enough about the law to know that the signs don't comply.
Food for thought, anyway.

Interestingly, BW3 in Plainfield, IN (just outside of Indy) has no such sign. I've carried in there several times with no problems.
I don't know if it's just a regional difference or what...maybe they don't notice me (I don't exactly wave it around like a flag)...but they've never seemed to care.
I was getting my hair cut and the lady's response when she saw it was to ask if it would be more comfortable on the counter.

I stopped wondering, either you're right and they post for that feel-goodness for some of their customers, or they are stupid and do not care enough to read the law. It's not trespassing if posted anyways, until we are asked to leave. If you want to get technical, it's not trespassing until we are asked to leave in the presence of a police officer (and don't leave).

I didn't want to get too technical.

BW3 has been posted, improperly, since the beginning. I had a long conversation with their management on the phone; they just don't care.
Whatever.
I think we ought to send them a copy of the state report with the number of permit holders. Cross out the title and label it, "25,000 people who will be dining at your competition's restaurant."

Title changed to include all locations.
I don't see my other post, but I had visited the Chanhassen BWW and they were posted in almost an identical fashion.
Last night, I visited the Crystal/New Hope location and it is posted using the same sign. Because of the layout of this location: this sign actually faces the door.

Still haven't had a chance to visit their new store in Savage, but I'll certainly take a peek and report back.

The signs have been inside the front door, and usually between waist and chest height. (I'm 5'9") I should get a camera phone.

You mean to tell me the 2 in Mankato are posted?
That's very interesting for several reasons....................

Sorry, I wasn't saying that the Mankato ones ARE posted. I'm saying that the ones up here did not have them on the front door or anywhere real obvious. So, it's POSSIBLE that the Mankato locations are posted, and it's possible you missed them.

The downtown store in Mankato wasn't posted a year or two ago when I was there. Havn't been to the new one yet (no one else in the household like hot type wings ).
