My wife and I took Andrew Rothman's CCW class (http://www.MNGun.com) this past weekend. There was one other person in the class held in Eden Praire. My wife and I both enjoyed ourselves and felt like we learned a great deal. The small class size lead to a very friendly atmosphere which allowed us to ask some questions and go over some things that we may not have in a larger class. Specifically my wife was glad she was able to "stop" class to ask what a double action was. I was glad as well because Mr. Rothman did far better at explaining it than I would have. My wife attened the class mostly to humor me, but told me later that now she has more intention to carry after taking the class. I have already recomended his class to a few people and will continue to do so.

How much did Andrew pay you? :P

Andrew's a great teacher like many others on this board, and btw "Welcome" just in case nobody else has said it yet.

Yea, by no means am I saying there aren't other great instructors. This is just an account of my only experience with a class.

The check's in the mail.

Seriously, thanks for the kind words. It was a fun class.

One note, though: I always take the time to answer questions, whether there are two students or a dozen.

Oh, and for a new shooter, your wife sure shot well, didn't she? ;)

Yea, she shot very well. She brought up the .5% difference in our scores more than a few times Saturday (and Sunday.)

See the razz and the laugh. We're all a bunch of standups here.

I forgot to mention the best part! Since Utah requires the class to include instruction on gun cleaning the wife doesn't have an excuse not to clean them after we go to the range. (Of course I know how to run the washing machine...)
