That was interesting. Just a couple of minutes after I put the LiveJournal entry up, one of the Forum members -- not me -- got a call from a Republican fundraiser. He said, "the Republicans aren't getting a dollar out of me until Pawlenty straightens out the handgun permit reciprocity mess."
"When do you think that will be?" the guy wanted a pledge, apparently.
"Ask Pawlenty."

I just hope this mess gets straightened out. I have little faith that it will anytime soon.

A couple of days ago (before the change) I was called for a donation and said that because of this I would not be (I doubt they'd miss it anyway!)
Maybe now that they see there's no uproar about it, they'll do the 2006 update, and we'll get the rest of them.
[shrug] There are days that I'm an optimist.

Does this mean, as a WI resident, that I could get a non-resident UT permit and carry in MN? I didn't see anything on this page that said anything about a permit holder residing in the state the permit is issued in.
If I can cut down the cost on the # of permits I need to get - all the better.

So Joel, what's your T-shirt size?
I'm thinking a bunch of these tees might be a nice door prize at the GOCRA fundraiser . . .
