I wanted to let everyone know that if you would like to, or care to shoot @ InRange, they are now open again from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. every day of the week except Tuesday. I spoke with Shea on the phone today. There are no weapons, just plenty ammo and targets available.

Their site, inrangellc.com

They have a short but interesting history which has been discussed here.

In my endless and futile campaign to stomp out the overuse of the word "interesting", which I have just begun this very moment, I suggest the words "turbulent" or "troubled" be used in this instance.

Have an interesting day!

Ah yes....I remember that post. I think I'll find somewhere closer anyway. Has anyone heard of any definitive plans for the range at Mystic? I've heard several stories bantered around.

I've heard from Roger at BPR (whom I very much trust) that the range at Mystic is done for good.

The past two times I've been at BPR there have been former clients from Mystic asking about memberships at BPR.

If you don't have an interesting hobby, what good are you?

Seriously though, I have been beating up my kids for writing papers that start like this:
Quote:
Benjamin Franklin was an interesting figure in history.

Actually the most irritating usage is when somebody describes your opinion as "interesting", but in a tone of voice that clearly says, "I'm not calling you stupid, only because you're too stupid to talk to."

I always suspected the existence of something sinister behind that charming smile.

Dean,
I have never met you, but I am quite certain you are a great Father.
To all Dads:
Thanks for being there and doing the best you can with your kids.

No, I'm not sure of the status there. I do know that Shea is still currently manning the shop though. I have no idea how long it will last. Also, if anyone is interesting in joining the pistol league, check out www.inrangellc.com for contact info or stop in and talk to Shea. He said he plans to start the leagues the first week of June and you are able to shoot on your own time if you'd like.
